Mayuge District โ Foundation Camp
Our inaugural major camp, conducted in collaboration with Hon. Rukia Nakadama, Third Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda. This landmark camp promoted a Primary Eye Centre to a full Surgical Centre โ a lasting infrastructure legacy.

Jinja District โ Source of the Nile
Free cataract surgery camp in Jinja, expanding our reach to Uganda's historic source-of-the-Nile region. Opening ceremony featured Dr. Chaudhry Sohail Raza from the United Kingdom, strengthening the global network behind OPGFA's mission.

Mulago National Referral Hospital
Partnership with Uganda's flagship national referral hospital in Kampala. Community awareness creation, patient screening, and eye health sensitisation at Uganda's most prominent healthcare institution.

Nsambya Police Barracks
A unique camp targeting Uganda Police Force officers โ a survey had revealed alarmingly high rates of eye conditions among officers who lacked access to affordable eye care. Both officers and civilians were served. This camp created a powerful bond between the Pakistan community and Ugandan security forces.

Liira โ Ministerial Opening Ceremony
A landmark camp with Uganda's Minister of Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng in attendance alongside H.E. Muhammad Hassan Wazir, Pakistan's High Commissioner to Uganda. The joint attendance of a minister and a foreign high commissioner demonstrated the strength of OPGFA's government and diplomatic partnerships.

Katakwi District Referral Hospital โ VP Visit
A historic camp visited by Uganda's Vice President H.E. Jessica Alupo and Pakistan's High Commissioner H.E. Muhammad Hassan Wazir. Chairman Naveed Minhas formally presented the "Cataract Free Uganda" manifesto โ marking a transformational moment in OPGFA's relationship with the Ugandan government. Katakwi remains our highest-impact single camp to date.

Arua Regional Referral Hospital
Dr. Syed Zohaib, OPGFA's head surgeon, led the surgical team to screen and operate on cataract patients at Arua Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda's northwest โ one of the most remote and underserved regions for eye care.

Mitooma District โ Minister of Internal Affairs
Collaboration with Hon. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire, Minister of Internal Affairs, bringing quality eye care to the people of Mitooma in western Uganda. The ambulance donation ceremony in this region also featured the Pakistan High Commission handing over an ambulance to Gen. Otafiire.

Kigarama โ Western Uganda
Free eye camp in western Uganda with Hon. Baine Peter and Hon. Naume Kibajju. An outstanding community response with over 2,000 patients turning out โ one of our highest community turnout rates in a single camp.

Kitagata โ Kasenselo County โ Remarkable Recoveries
One of our most emotionally powerful camps. Patients aged from 60 to 95 years who had lived without sight for anywhere from 1 to 10 years regained their vision. Stories include: Kenyana Granci (89) who saw again after 8 years; Mbabazi Mary (80) after 10 years; a 95-year-old man after 5 years. Every single one received surgery completely free.
