Services

Phacoemulsification & Advanced Cataract Surgery

Our flagship service. Ultrasonic energy is used to emulsify and aspirate the cataract through a micro-incision. Patients typically recover vision within 24โ€“48 hours, with minimal discomfort and rapid return to normal life.

Surgical Vitreo-Retinal Services

Advanced surgical treatment for diseases affecting the vitreous humor and retina. Conditions treated include: diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular holes, vitreomacular traction, and epiretinal membranes.

Corneal Transplant (Keratoplasty)

Full-thickness and lamellar corneal transplant services for patients with corneal blindness caused by keratoconus, Fuchs dystrophy, corneal scarring from trachoma, or injury.

Glaucoma Clinic

Comprehensive glaucoma screening using the latest OCT and tonometry equipment. Medical management with drops and tablets, plus surgical intervention (trabeculectomy, tube shunts) when needed.

Pediatric Cataract Surgery

Specialized cataract surgery for infants and children, with general anaesthesia where required. Early intervention is critical โ€” childhood cataracts can cause permanent amblyopia ("lazy eye") if untreated.

Squint (Strabismus) Services

Diagnosis and surgical correction of strabismus in both children and adults. Includes orthoptic assessment, botulinum toxin injection, and extraocular muscle surgery to restore binocular vision.

Diabetic Retinopathy Services

Full diabetic eye screening programme including FFA (Fundus Fluorescein Angiography), OCT, and retinal photography. Treatments include laser photocoagulation and anti-VEGF injections where available.

Oculoplasty Services

Surgical and non-surgical management of eyelid disorders (ptosis, entropion, ectropion, chalazion excision), orbital conditions, lacrimal/tear duct disorders, and periocular tumour removal.

Community Ophthalmology

Outreach programmes, village-level screening, school eye health camps, and multi-district surgical camps bringing free care directly to communities that cannot travel to the hospital.

Low Vision Aid Services

Assessment and provision of optical magnifiers, telescopic lenses, non-optical aids, and mobility training for patients with irreversible vision loss who can benefit from maximising residual sight.

Contact Lens & Optical Services

Comprehensive refraction, prescription eyewear dispensing, and contact lens fitting. Spectacles are prescribed and dispensed to ensure patients leave with the full correction they need.

24-Hour Emergency Services

Round-the-clock eye trauma care: chemical injuries, penetrating injuries, acute angle-closure glaucoma, central retinal artery occlusion, endophthalmitis, and other urgent conditions requiring immediate attention.
